That tuner looks the business. It certainly deserves a proper cabinet to house it. A wide cabinet with a the speakers positioned at each side of the unit. Some time ago on the Radiofil website the circuit of an excellent valve stereo decoder was a popular topic. It employed a single ECF80 plus germanium diodes.
