Strange because the nearest I can find using this search string shows one @ £11.52 inc VAT of which there are 782 in stock. Close but obviously not the one you bought, Brian, of which there is no trace!
As Jeffrey only wanted one, he would have had to pay for delivery unless combined with other item(s) - hence my reference to the free collection services offered by others.
It would be interesting to know how you found your choice of socket - surely it can't be in the paper catalogue (which I don't have) and not in the online one ...?
Or is it just as simple as a price rise you hadn't spotted - after all, there's only one difference in the available quantities we've both quoted.
