Sorry Lawrence, I was going to reply last night but got caught up in the outage.
Yes, that certainly looks like it. The only difference that I can see is the 'Thing' sticking out at the back/RHS at the level of the Top Knob. Whatever it is I haven't got one but it may be part of some arrangement to gang this one with another Coil.
The Coverage is wonderful although it would have been more useful if a Tuning Capacitor value had been quoted. I made the LW + MW Windings 2.17mH, which implies 500pF or thereabouts. I wish we'd got the Wiring Diagrams mentioned in the Advert. Somewhere, on a dusty Shelf, ......
I've had another stab at reverse-engineering it, and nearly had a disaster. As I mentioned above the best bet appeared to be to disconnect all the Wires connected to the Earth Terminal and see where everything went.
There's a very thick one which disappears into the plumbing - Short Wave?
There's two thin stranded Wires in a Sleeve. That was under the thick Windings and I only just managed to get it off without damage. However, one of the Wires is now a tad short and I'll have to strip it and connect it to the other one. The sleeve is, I think, Waxed, and I 'll have to use a new piece of Heatshrink or some such to stand any chance of getting it back.
Anyway, having disconnected, I tried to figure out where they went to, and failed. Sorry, I'm going to put it back together before I really bugger it.
Alan
