I also came across that Museum of Technology error.
I think primary sources is the only sure fire way, I spent years doing genealogical research for the family, in some cases you can't even depend on the census records with certainty because they are not a primary source, what survived as a secondary source was all I had to go on...many false trails.
I'll keep looking for the KB.
