I have an interest in this Nick, I've come into a big pile of commodity valves that are mostly unmarked, that I'm intending to dispose of to help a charitable cause, once they've been tested, a project for the new year. I had thought of labels like the BBC valve section used, as these can perhaps be done on an inkjet printer, I just need to know what they were made of, as they did stick the heat quite well, hope it wasn't asbestos! Would you be interested in this method? I've been told off in the past for using indelible markers on valve glass because it can knacker the valve apparently (?) Regards. Andy.
