I have been wondering on the progress of the 8161 Mirror Lid TV?  Perhaps you might like to start a continuation thread on it here?

There has been little or no progress on the BT8161 as I got a bit disheartened by the difficulties I was meeting while trying to get the IF strip going - 4MHz centre frequency with 2.5MHz bandwidth (please see the signature at the bottom of this post!!). However, it is my intention to "get on with it" in the very near future as in the last few months I have bought a very rusty Marconi 707 and a Marconi 702 which is in excellent condition and they are shrieking out to me for attention - but I am determined to get further with the BT8161.
As to continuing my article on this forum, I will keep it on the other site as I view changing as a slight on the other forum and I certainly don't want to give that impression. I am an active member of all three well known sites and they all contribute a huge amount to our hobby.
