I might go for one of them then, our local factors are out of stock at the moment but they could probably get one within a few days, meanwhile I've got a 5 ft duty heavy pointed steel bar and a sledge hammer to have ago at testing the below ground conditions for driving a rod in. The area I have in mind is only about 30 ft from one of the main electricity poles, that pole was new a couple of years or so ago, I watched them do the excavation, they were down around 7 ft and no bedrock...fingers crossed.
