The fun part of this project draws closer which will be the repair of the tuning scale slats. Two of these slats have the lettering erased. They were originally glass but I used some Perspex to replace one that got broken. The wooden cabinet is also in really bad shape. The scale lamps appear to be all well gone so I'll need new 6 volts bulbs. The holders are a bit rusted as well on the surface
It will all have to be restrung as the stringing mechanism was wrecked.
The circuitry work is far from finished yet but the set is now working at least and sound for now is quite good.
There was a musty smell of age when it finally ran.
