Hi Gents, we used this varistor connection in supply suppressor units for use with an SMPS.
BUT the unit was directly bolted to the earth plate on a pole mounted11kv to 400v transformer for supplies in a remote area (It cleaned up the rubbish from the incoming overhead line supply)
