I use Kodak alkalines as well and have found them to be very good.

I've no experience with Duracell but the ones sold as Simply Duracell are, as concluded in this video, Simply ****.

I see he's aiming his videos at the other side of the pond, referring to 'Dollar Stores'. (Poundland/Pounworld etc)

It would be interesting to put a range of batteries into the Duracell drumming bear or whatever it was, that allegedly went on far longer on Duracells than other brands.

A bit like the VW diesel emission tests I guess.

No brands can be trusted, but batteries at £1.00 for six are quite a different thing from a car of course.
