Hi David, i assume these machines, invoked an epileptic seizure to clear the brain of any clutter, yes quite barbaric, remember this is the small unit, i guess the hospital unit was in a room with bed, restraining straps, gags etc, i would think a terror filled way to so call clear depression, oddly enough these machines do have collectors.......Alan
