Gary's comment about using modern plastic deilectric parts to replace low value electrolytics is a good one. I've certainly done this with 1uF parts in TVs.

I suppose it's possible, just occasionally, that there's a circuit that needs the slight leakiness and/or lossiness of an electrolytic to work correctly.
