Lots of radios in this auction

Nothing catches my eye either.

I see there's a wartime civvie radio that someone thought could be improved by slapping a coat of cream emulsion paint on!

I guess someone's had the sad task of clearing out a collection for a deceased friend or relative - close on 40 radios.

You can imagine the debate - "shall we just get a skip and be done with it, put a few of e-bay, or get rid of the lot via an auction?"

Auction is the way to go.

Now that auctions are on internet where you can bid online, the range of potential buyers is far wider than was formerly the case.

I've only put two into auction, but they realised good prices with none of the hassles which often ensue on eBay.

(Cost £2.00 per lot for internet listing on top of other charges, whether the lot sells or not).

If I wish to dispose of any more, it will certainly be the local auction house - eBay won't get a look in - I've been mucked about too many times by non-paying bidders etc.

No hassles with packing, or risk of damage in transit either.
