The parking availability in Southwold was dire that day. I thought the space was longer than it actually was, otherwise I wouldn't have attempted it.
From the same trip I've attached a photo of the lighthouse at Orford Ness. The Ness is a strange place, with a lot of military history from WW1 to the atomic age. Now it's National Trust. The ex BBC transmitter station is no longer used though the aerials are still there. Its future is uncertain.
