It's remarkably easy to lose technological know how. For example it would now be hard to restart manufacture of colour crts.

If we want another manned moon landing alot of stuff will need to be rediscovered or invented from scratch. Some things like computing and communications will be much easier now. We also have good lunar mapping that the apollo programme would have loved to have.
