Regarding the readings with an Avo, the readings in the manual will be from the Avo. When you use a digital meter some readings will appear to be high, as the digital meter is high impedance reading voltages on anodes fed from high value resistors the digital meter will read higher and more accurately than an Avo. The ht line is relatively low impedance so there will be little difference between the two types of meters.
Agc voltage will be different with a digital meter too as its very high impedance.
