The gears on my old Makita cordless drill were starting to act up, I bought another one, it has a lithium battery, so far I'm impressed with lithium job, the battery auto cuts out when it's supposed to and recharging is fast, it has hammer action (not full blown SDS) I was impressed with the batteries when using the drill for that.
I used the new drill throughout the new woodland cabin build, all the holes in the concrete blocks for plugging the cladding battens were drilled using it too.
Mine came with three batteries plus the charger.
