I don't know Alan, all that type of stuff seams very rare these days.
Regarding the differential capacitor, here's an interesting patent, a novel idea at that time I would have thought, a unique selling point maybe for the marketing dept:

I've put the feelers out on UKVRR to see if that idea went into production.
