Hat's off to you Alan, a nice job, I know hard stone work can be, the last big stones I shifted were when we were doing the last house up, the fireplace was built from scratch by me, I had a snatch block jammed against the right hand wall, one end rope was tied to the Landrover, the other to the lintel which was then outside, it was pulled inside through the old door opening by the said arrangement, the two upright stones were walked in, I didn't have a hoist to lift the lintel into position, anyone guess how I did it?
