Hello,
I am new to this forum, but have been active on another for a little over a year. It is however time for a change and this forum comes highly recommended.
I recognise some names from the other forum, but for those who don't know me, I have an active interest in radio receivers and components from the period 1925 to 1935 exclusively. I am also a home-brewer of components, test gear and receivers related to the technology of this era too. At the other end of the spectrum I also enjoy designing and making portable battery powered solid-state guitar amps. I'm not very experienced in the field of electronics and radio, my working life was in other fields entirely, and I only came to this hobby in April 2014. But in the 14 months I have had an interest I have learned a reasonable amount and can hopefully participate in some threads, although I will probably ask more questions than I will answer for some time to come. If I can however, I will always try and help a fellow enthusiast.
I live near Guildford, Surrey but I am in the process of relocating the family to Cumbria and we will hopefully be in our new home before year end.
