Now for the long part.
Mark up and drill a lot of Holes in the SRBP then add the Terminals.
Next Solder on the Resistors - sorry about the Picture.
I decided I'd better add an Earth Terminal to the Cage and give it a coat of Paint to stop it going rusty. Finally, some countersunk Screws and Nuts to hold it together.
The string of 1ks measures within 1% and the 10ks around 5% so near enough for an old Codger.
Just to try it I attached it to my Solartron HV Supply.
I've had the Solartron for about a year but apart from verifying that the internals looked OK and checking the Output Voltage I haven't used it in anger nor tested it properly. It's just as well I didn't need it because as opposed to the 400 plus Volts and 100mA it's supposed to give out it only managed around 200 Volts and 25mA. It came with some spare Valves which I suspect it might well need. Anyway, that's for another day.
