I'll get a tracer and/or signal injector sorted out, I'm enjoying this journey into radio so it wont be wasted. I have a couple of amps lying around to can bodge a tracer easy enough.
I replaced all 6 electrolytic caps including the 2 on the component side. I'll get a hold of a AC128 and try that too.
Received some servisol today so on/off switch is now working fine. To anyone that doesn't know, don't 'specialist contact cleaner' by WD40 on combined switches/pots. It doesn't have any lubrication properties, only a quick drying solvent, it seized my on/off switch
Can you elaborate on the freezer can please Rob?
