You are a font of knowledge. I have made a wee list of caps I will replace and take it from there. It is working but a bit hissy so I might have to live with it or spend more time/dosh on it. The end game is to give it back to my mother who bought it new, working. Will she detect the same hiss? probably not but it is a satisfaction thing. I will read a digest your info tho, thank you for taking the time.
Funny you should mention Hackers, Im watching 2 on Ebay just now , sovereign 2 RP25's, both finishing tonight but kinda pricy.
