What is the letter after the model number?
TR82C does not have AF117 in it.
TR82D does have them.
What was the fault that retired it?
The most common problem is the red, yellow and black capacitors. There are two smaller ones of a different type that fail less often.
It would be worth starting a new thread or topic for your set in the radio section and then I can add my method for getting the tuning dial off without cracking it. There are several ways but do not just pull it off.
I did restores on one of each model a while back.
