Door bell timer using 555 IC?

I feel I should point out that there's no way for me to know the pin configuration of your relay, but I suspect you may have joined the double switch together, rendering the operation of the relay void. I'm perhaps labouring the point but check out your relay connections carefully as I believe the problem must lie there.
