when this happens press ctrl alt delete and have a look at the task manager .
I think the graph will show high cpu usage maybe caused by programs running in the back ground.
if this turns out to be the case use msconfig to stop some or all background programs .
I also recommend installing CC cleaner https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download just the free version will do it will clean all temp/temp internet and other unwanted files.

if its made by hand it can be repaired by hand
