Oh! you should have just used the TP2620 as I believe that the Valve Museum is virtual !!
If you stick the valve in cellulose thinners, in a small jar, with enough to come up over the base, and leave it, it should come off. Normally overnight is enough and then give it a good couple of twists in gloved hands.
