Sixty years ago, today ............ it was a different world. War time rationing had ended yesterday.
The government had through rationing decided what we would eat for 14 years and the population was healthier than it ever had been or has been since.
Now we are enormously unhealthy, diabetes and obesity is costing the NHS a fortune.
