For many years I've used either a Heathkit IP-17 (1968, 0-400VDC @ 0-100mA; 0-100VDC @ 1 mA; 6,3VAC 4A or 12.6VAC 2A, 10mV RMS ripple max) or the slightly later IP-2717a (1975, 0-400VDC @ 0-125mA; 0-100VDC @ 1 mA; 6.3VAC 4A or 12.6VAC 2A, 10mV RMS ripple max) for my tube PSUs whilst testing - nice little bits of kit.
The schematics are widely available (I've included them below, together with full manuals). If you get one, they'll need re-capping and a bit of TLC, but they are solid performers...
