Clearing the brash can be time consuming, conifers are the easiest to handle, they are the easiest to stack either for burning, rotting down, reduction by chainsaw etc or for dragging out and stacking in a trailer, hardwood brash is the worst, that stuff grows any which way and is just awkward to handle, burning on site or reduction is best for that stuff, at home I burn all the brash, down the woods I just stack it for wildlife cover if there's lots of it.
