components can be annoying

I removed an old cap yesterday that was connected to a pot with a big sleeve over one lead. This was a real pain to get to but I managed to get it off. Whats under the sleeve - an 18k 5% resistor to which decided to lose a lead (snapped away from the body).

With the thousands of resistors that I have do you think that I can find an 18k replacement!!!!!
