Um! very challenging restro ! Don't think SWMBO would like it on the sideboard.
So is that double diversity ? If I remember a little about this you have two displaced antenna systems and each receiver is connected to one of them. So tuned to a SW station if you get fade on one channel the other may not and the summed output, with I guess amplified AVC etc, holds reasonably constant.
What are all the separate boxes on top? Are they range plug ins similar to how the HRO was?
