Hi,
I'll save you counting Big Al, my tumbler reverse gears are 20T and 22T; at first glance I thought them to be identically sized; it just shows you can't take anything at all for granted in one of these restorations; the only way I noticed was doing my usual thing of assembling them the wrong way round; well there are only two ways and for me whichever I chose with my eyes closed I would always select the wrong way first?
Thanks for the pictures and "Lathes" link Big Al; springtime is here so what about giving your lathes face a wipe; it sure looks sad?
Thanks also for your picture Alan D, I wouldn't speculate on whether the gears have another function after being caught out so easily with my tumbler reverse gear sizes?
I added another two nameplates to the Lorch today and have now powered up the new Brook Gryphon motor on the bench; whilst in the garage I spent a couple of hours just tidying up so now I can see the benches once again so this Lorch restoration must be nearing completion? I've still got a lot of tidying up to do but it's already looking better for today's effort.
Kind regards, Col.

Happiness is a wreck of a cabinet to restore.
