WOW Nick, why didn't I think of that; when I saw the picture I thought "aye up lad someones on LSD"? I wouldn't have minded though having a go at chrome spraying? Thanks for your compliment Nick.

I wonder what's happened to Bungle and Zippy Colin?

Thanks Lawrence; it will brighten up the corner of the garage once restored; I hadn't reckoned on the good lighting I had installed changing the colour so much; it sure does look bright in the pictures.

I'm looking forward to a full day tomorrow in the garage; next job is head-stock re-assembly and once this is done I can then stand back to take stock because at the moment I'm too involved to see what is happening; strange how restorations behave like this?
