I must be lucky with my branch as I've no complaints at all. The staff are friendly and I can usually find things, in fact they are better than most at not moving things 'round every few weeks.
There are often boxes in the aisles when I go as soon as they open but not later in the day.
This is nowhere near as big a problem as the aisles in Sainsbury's being blocked by huge trolleys that staff are filling for home delivery. I always have longer to wait there to be served and first thing I sometimes have to hunt somebody out as none of the tills are manned.
As so often, it's down to local staff and management.

The reason they don't move much around Joe, is that they have a standard layout for each size of branch. I noticed that the pallets and boxes have an aisle and location number on them and asked our (very friendly) local Aldi manager about it. He reckons that there are 4 or 5 store layouts and if you go into any Aldi, most times you will find products in exactly the same place. I checked this when visiting an Aldi on the outskirts of the Hartlepools on Friday and, sure enough, the layout and locations were pretty much identical. Staff there were just as friendly as those on our local branch.
