No - I paid for that - never had a day off work from age 15 and paid my dues. It's payback time!
They're paying into the pot for their own state pension.
I don't blame anyone for taking advantage of a free cup of coffee to non-customers if they want. I blame Waitrose who are alienating their core customer base, and turning their café into a building site canteen/drop-in centre. From my perspective, most of those in the café aren't Waitrose customers who are too busy shopping.
