Hi,
Thanks Lawrence; it's not a case of not being able to ask a neighbour or a friend to use their phone to contact Virgin Media I DON'T WANT TO.
Thanks for your suggestion Refugee but once again why should I have to buy another phone in order to by-pass a phone we already have which should be working; I could of course top up my cheap mobile phone but am I not dealing with a communications company who can reply to emails by telling me to use their phone line which is not working? I could however look into Skype once I wade through my current problems.
Thanks for your continued suggestions but each time I am informed to phone Virgin Media I simply dig in a bit more. Not everyone owns or wants to own a mobile phone; I bought my cheap mobile to get in touch with Bronwyn when I was at Rufforth; on the first of this month I may as well not have owned the mobile because our Virgin land line was out of action. I don't even like phones.
Virgin are aware both that our Virgin land line is not working after all they have already sent two of their engineers to visit us; Virgin Media also know that we would like to sort out our Wi-fi connection so is the problem with me; am I so dim as to be missing something?
Email is a wonderful way to communicate it's a pity Virgin Media as a communications company do not embrace it.
I'll send Virgin Media another email later today and keep sending them generating a case number each time then perhaps someone at Virgin Media might realize my emails are from a person? I'm in a very good mood having just come out of the garage where I've had a peaceful session working on the Lorch so it's not all doom and gloom and as far as phones and Wi-Fi are concerned I've managed quite well previously without either.
Kind regards, Col.
