Jeeze....Got half way through that then got my hankie out.
We are with BT at the end of a rural copper line, our phone actually plugs into the phone socket, it's got very big numbers on the keypad, I can read them from across the room.
You can tell if your phone line is duff when the nuisance calls stop.
