That's a "first class job" as Frank Murphy used to say. What a transformation and doesn't the paint colour match well. I'm impressed with the screw terminals; better than soldered connections. Not that hopefully it will not need to come apart for many years.

Thanks for your kind words of encouragement Gary - the colour match is of course down to you! (Halford's own brand Ford 'Dove Grey' acrylic).
At Rufforth I managed to find some 4BA solder eyelets rather than the more commonplace crimp-on terminals. They're just the right outer diameter to obviate the risk of coming into contact with one another as they're quite close together. (I'll post a pic of them when I've soldered a few onto the harness wires). I've made a paxolin cover strip so that if anyone should ever be daft enough to take the back of the set off with it connected to the mains, the live HT terminals won't be exposed.
I half thought I might fit a modern three pin IEC (earthed) male socket in place of the original 2 pin jobby, but since the set isn't live chassis, it matters not which way the 2-pin mains connected is plugged in, so I thought that was a step too far. As far as possible I've tried to conserve what's there or it starts to become like a homebrew project using the original set as a 'donor'. I think we're on the same wavelength in that regard. (Conservation v renovation/restoration).
