He has a number of videos on Youtube. Most of them seem to date from about 6 years ago, so whether that counts as "today" I'm not sure. Clearly though we're getting his "truths" about amateur radio and, although we may recognise some of his characterisations, that doesn't make them eternal verities.
On balance I think we probably learn as much about him from the video as we do about the state of the hobby "today" and that I suppose is the real truth about amateur radio. I don't want to shock anybody (and it seem to have escaped K1OIK) but it is only a hobby.
