Been known for a long time - sometimes also translates as "Chinese Export". Trading standards are fully aware and are making swoops continually. If you should come across any product labelled so, then it is wise to report it to Trading standards with the sample retained.
I did it for a wall wart supplied by a Birmingham-based trader. I have since heard that his premises were raided and most of his stock (ALL stock items) was removed. He was successfully prosecuted too.
