The Garage is Concrete Sectional, 2' per Section. There's a transverse Steel Angle Roof support every 2 Sections. Ideally I would have liked to run the Pipe along the Wall behind the Machinery at a convenient height, but that area is cluttered with Wiring and Shelves. The next best option it seemed to me were the Roof Supports. I wanted to run the Supply essentially the full length of the Garage so providing a 'Drop' at each Roof Support would be convenient. The only snag was that the Angle was too narrow to support a couple of Pipe Clips which I wanted to support the Joints etc. So, I Sawed up some bits of Angle and Welded them to the existing Angle.
I Drilled and Tapped M4 and had a trial run with my test Pipes.
That seemed OK so the rest was just more of the same, plus plumbing. I only broke 4 Drills - 3.2mm at arm's length isn't my favourite activity.
And Lo, it works. The outside one will need more support and protection when the Weather gets a bit more clement - I've got it sealed in a thick Plastic Bag at the moment. Sorry about the Pictures - the Morning Sun is a bit of a problem on that side.
Just one comment - I found a 15mm to 1/4" Male BSP Fitting after I'd done the job, but it was more expensive than my home-made ones so I'm not too depressed.
So, no more Trailing Hoses and I can plug in at the most convenient place for the job in hand.
