Hi,
Thanks for alerting us Refugee. I was actually looking at these storage units in our local Aldi only this morning and as usual with Aldi goods they appear to be excellent value.
I started shopping at Aldi about a year or so ago because whilst being nosy in the store I spotted fresh Soya milk at only 59p per litre; it costs around £1.10 per litre at Morrison's. Since then I've been buying more and more at Aldi and this morning bought bananas; potatoes; strawberries and apples which I've been buying at Morrison's for the last twenty years.
I've always liked our local Morrison's but for a two minute drive I can save in excess of £500 per year easily by buying like for like at Aldi.
For serious wall drilling David I find my big Titan SDS drill bought from Screwfix to power its way through anything including concrete garage walls which my big Bosch hammer drill only tickles; the Titan only cost around £70 including an impressive kit of bits and attachments.
Aldi do sell some decent kit at very cheap prices; I once borrowed an electric chainsaw which had been bought at Aldi and it was most impressive in its performance. Gary recommended Aldi work trousers (Cargo's) I bought two pair and now I only wear these because they are incredibly comfortable.
For any member who has never visited an Aldi store I would recommend having a look; it's surprising what is on offer and like David I too receive updates online of Aldi special offers.
Kind regards, Col.
