Actually you have given me an idea there ! Why not an adaptor loosely fitted to the radio but with no modification that converts wander, or US phono to 3.5mm jack and includes the channel mix resistors. Hopefully just lives on the back of the radio and goes with it on sale. The non-techie person is never going to get into pantry Xmitters.
