I know a collector who lost a great deal of money by a paypal scam. He sent a container of antiques to Hong Kong, got paid by paypal, but a few months later the recipient claimed he never received the container and paypal took the money back without any notice. The same thing happened to others, so it was a known scam, but paypal refused to investigate, and what are you going to do about it?
