Hi,
Thanks for the links Refugee, I'll have a look at them later as I'm a bit bogged down again.I posted my 2hp compressor on eBay and 30 minutes later had a price agreed and the guy is on his way to pay cash and collect as I type. I too seem to spend quite a bit of time watching videos on YouTube because there is so much information available on subjects I like unlike on TV where its virtually zero?
I watched Eastenders many years ago and thought what a truly depressing program and haven't watched it since. I don't bother with Emmerdale or Corrie either but Bron follows these so I settle down at the computer in peace posting on my favourite forum?
We're on Virgin cable Gary but no recording because the stuff on TV simply isn't worth the bother. With all this so called modern technology why isn't there an easy "Skip" button on the remote control to dump or better still destroy adverts? When I try to watch BBC News it's either sport or some long winded junk they are promoting themselves; drives me mad. The news I do eventually see is all about sport or some latest disaster around the world? Break through's in medicine but ten years from a cure? I couldn't care less what type of balls guys play with. You couldn't pay me to watch a football match.
The picture shows a lot of DVD's all containing videos or movies with up to six full movies on each so there must be over a 1,000 to choose from; a much better selection than held collectively by all the TV channels considering the number of repeats shown? Every one of these was a free download the only cost being around £16 per 100 blank DVD's. This to me is much better value than the rip off TV licence fee.
Got to go; compressor to sell and dispose of.
Kind regards, Col.
