Bang on David; tomorrow at Rufforth is our equivalent of girls retail therapy; I hope it doesn't snow but this time I'm rigged out with a brand new heavy duty parka; new woolly hat and gloves; you might not recognize me by the toilets so just look for a parka with steam coming out of the top of it? Rufforth is a place where it is just as cold inside the hanger as it is outside but its addictive to us guys who love to potter around in our home workshops. Once again I'll be buying urgent items I don't yet know I need? It will indeed do me a power of good and I've already had a long hot soak in the bath.
Thanks for the congratulations Lawrence; as I work on my own I'm always pleased to complete these big jobs in safety; there was so much that could have gone wrong to catch me out so I always work carefully but without feeling scared.
I'm sure you are in for quite a few aching muscles on Sunday Lawrence when you go firewood hunting. When I knocked off today I felt rather rough with aching hips and buttocks; our garden gives me a good workout just walking up it and when want the ultimate workout I drag the petrol mower up the garden. At the moment I feel good; my aching has gone and I feel cheerful; pity its a black hole outside; had it been one of our two days of summer I could have done a bit of work on the bandsaw?
