Adrian's portable site has been up and running for several years now, by coincidence one of the first sites I found when I started collecting the Bush MB60/TR82 series of portables back in 2006.

I did know Adrian's surname (but have since forgotten) and despite his site having a ".co.uk" domain, Adrian actually lives in Mexico. He is also a member of the UKVRR forum as "Adrian", but very rarely posts.

He has a good selection of sets and in particular an excellent information section on most of the portables produced by Ever Ready and Vidor. A useful resource for anyone who collects those models.

I have to agree with that comment David, you are of course referring largely to the many attache case models I assume? I find those types particularly uninteresting too, dare I say boring even.

As you are aware, the focus of my battery valve portable collection are those models that have VHF - models with 9 or 10 valves and a densely packed chassis to keep me thinking and on my toes!
