If your going to use the room for doing things, like fixing radios on a side bench then go for cool lights as the warm ones tend to be a bit on the yellow side for this sort of thing. The cool lights tend to be more stark in contrast to the warms, that's why I use that type in the kitchen but standard warms elsewhere.
