We use these plastic bags to deposit non-recyclable household waste in. So for us, the question is: "Are we prepared to pay 5p. for each plastic bag?" As a guesstimate, I'd say that the cost of the contents in each plastic bag will be about £5. So at 5p. per plastic bag, that's a surcharge of 1% on the price of the goods in each bag: I'm happy with that. I don't yet know how Lady Skywave feels about this, but I anticipate that I'll soon be told.
